Scope by Slipstream Engineering  ·  prepared for Mars & Jon  ·  Sep 30, 2026

Find the vertical Scope wins in, with demos on your calendar every week.

You want an order of magnitude more discovery calls so you can find the vertical that works and go all in. Here's how we'd run it for the next 90 days.

The goal

What done looks like at day 90.

Demos

Qualified founders and ops leads on your calendar every month, so you run the discovery yourselves.

Data

Reply and demo rates per vertical, per segment, per angle. Enough to call a winner, not guess one.

Direction

One vertical you go all in on, plus the exact message that wins it, ready to reuse on ads and landing pages.

Month 1: three verticals, side by side

Starting hypotheses built off your three pages. Each vertical gets split into segments so we learn who inside it buys, not just whether it works. We lock the final list together on the kickoff call.

Agencies

client reportsauditsdecks

Who: marketing and performance agencies, roughly 10 to 75 people. Split by agency type (paid media, SEO, full service) and size.

Angle: account managers lose every Friday to client reports. Scope builds them from the ad accounts and drops the deck in Slack.

Ecommerce

store opscampaignsrevenue

Who: Shopify and DTC brands with a small ops team. Split by revenue band and by who runs ops (founder vs dedicated ops hire).

Angle: the stuff that breaks at 9am and nobody notices till noon. Order emails, checkout errors, campaign numbers.

Back office

adminreportingreconciling

Who: bookkeeping and accounting firms, plus finance and ops leads at 20 to 200 person companies. Split by firm type and size.

Angle: recurring reconciling and month-end reporting handed off, finished, and checked before it lands.

Wildcard slot (optional)

our suggestion

If one of the three stalls early, we swap in a fourth from our data, for example Slack-heavy startups of 20 to 150 people who already live in the channel Scope works in. You spin up the page, we test it.

Pick a speed

Same process on both. The difference is how fast you get to an answer.

RECOMMENDED FOR 3 VERTICALS
Growth
$3,200 / month
  • 100,000 emails a month
  • All 3 verticals tested in parallel, with segments inside each
  • 15 qualified demos a month, guaranteed
  • Month to month, no lock-in
Starter
$2,000 / month
  • 30,000 emails a month
  • 2 verticals at a time, fewer segments each
  • 7 qualified demos a month, guaranteed
  • Month to month, no lock-in

The guarantee

If we book you fewer qualified demos than your tier in a sending month, we refund that month's invoice in full. Cash back, not credit.

What we need from you for it to hold: work with us in a shared Slack channel, take each demo within 48 hours, approve copy within 48 hours, tell us the moment something looks wrong, and let us know how each demo went (that's also what makes month 2 better than month 1).

What counts as a qualified demo: a company in the vertical and size band we're testing that month, a decision maker matching the persona we pitch, who said they're interested in talking, booked on your calendar.

Is it worth it? Your numbers.

Put in your own figures. Defaults come from your booking form (year-one value $5K to $10K).
